What We Do: Paranormal Nature Investigations

What we don’t do:

  • We don’t chase, trap, rid, exorcise, cleans or purify a location of claimed paranormal activity.
  • We do not charge a fee for services, nor do we accept donations.

What we do:

  • We investigate, observe, and possibly interact. This can be done and may require more than one occasion at the location of claimed activity.
  • We are Investigators, not Researchers:
    • Paranormal Research is conducted under highly controlled circumstances as only a university laboratory can provide. This occurs when investigation data is collected and submitted for further research.
    • As Investigators, we collect data with equipment we provide and can afford. If we can not determine a cause, further study or “Research” may be needed.
      • (However, if the client feels very strongly any unanswered matters are due to spiritual aspects, we can assist in providing professional specialists such as ministers, priests, rabbi, shaman, etc.)
    • With various pieces of equipment, we try to determine a "Natural or Normal" cause for the phenomenon such as:
    • Critters
    • Acoustics
    • EMF (Electro Magnetic) Wiring, Power, Microwave, Radio wave and general electrical disturbances caused from such sources.
    • Chemical and Organic Solvents, Wastes which may cause physical disturbances.
    • Basic Equipment includes but is not limited to:
      • Audio/Video
      • EMF/Gauss/Magnetic/Decibel Meter Readings
      • Individual testing or experiments which may include infra red or black light.
  • We provide possible theories for a scientific explanation, and make recommendations as to further testing to prove or disprove the theory. But, as we pay out of pocket sometimes proof might require specialized equipment/testing/professionals for example.   This then begins a series of “Research”.    It is up to the client to determine if further research is needed.

What is EVP?

Within ghost hunting and parapsychology, electronic voice phenomena (EVP) are sounds found on electronic recordings that are interpreted as spirit voices. Parapsychologist Konstantīns Raudive, who popularized the idea in the 1970s, described EVP as typically brief, usually the length of a word or short phrase.[1]

Enthusiasts consider EVP to be a form of paranormal phenomenon often found in recordings with static or other background noise. Scientists regard EVP as a form of auditory pareidolia (interpreting random sounds as voices in one's own language) and a pseudoscience promulgated by popular culture. Prosaic explanations for EVP include apophenia (perceiving patterns in random information), equipment artifacts, and hoaxes.
